Glorkian Warrior: Trials Of Glork – Review

Are you ever in the mood for a mindless, funny, hilarious, shoot ’em up? Well I think I may just have the best game for you! We have here a goofy mashup of space invasion and saturday morning cartoons that will make you smile as you destroy everything in sight.

The premise is quite simple, we need to assist the Glorkian Warrior and his trusty Super Backpack in a fight against an endless onslaught of alien creatures. And you never know what might hit you, be it laser beams or… kittens!

The controls are extremely simple: move left and right, or jump while doing so! I love how responsive they were; no one wants to tap at their screen helplessly in a space battle!

It’s a quite refreshing take on the genre and with very vivid colours, the game is sure to grab your attention for quite a while. You always wanna play for “just 5 more minutes” to see what else it will bring your way. The pattern of the enemies is almost mesmerizing, so try not to get lost into it too much or you will perish as quickly as your 3 eyes can blink.

While we are on this subject, I rarely have fun playing a game where we die so often. But the upside in this one is not matter how miserable our performance, each play session will add to our progress and unlock new features to keep us fully engaged!

Plus who doesn’t dream of collecting space crackers after defeating their foes?!

  1. OK! Just got to say this is one of my wifes favs! Glorkian Warrior: Trials Of Glork is not only simple and super fun, but it takes ya back to the 90’s… ahh the memories.. Spending some time with Glorkian provides a much needed, mindless break from reality every once in a while…. Love his voice, BTW! 🙂
