Tiny Passengers is an interesting puzzle game developed by Shape Minds. It is your job to fill little whimsical vehicles full of passengers matching their color. When two passengers of the same color meet in line, they become best friends and will only board as a group. Boarding groups or filling vehicles in one motion will net you bonus points and extra time.
The graphics for this game are amazing. Clay figures were created and then animated digitally. It is a unique look to a game and the characters are fun and bright. The vehicles are everything from a shoe to seahorse to a pink cat on roller skates. The colors, character designs and vehicles make the game fun to play.
There are three modes in Tiny Passengers. In the free version, you must play the Time Mode a number of times before Puzzle Mode unlocks. There will also be times after a game ends where you are prompted to either purchase the full game (0.99) or watch an ad.
In Time Mode you have 60 seconds to fill as many vehicles as possible. Filling a vehicle in one move, adding a group of friends to a vehicle, or chaining these combos will add time to the clock, usually 2 to 10 seconds.
In Puzzle Mode, you have to fill all three vehicles in a certain amount of moves. A lot of planning has to go into these puzzles in order to have groups of friends ready to embark.
Probably the most unexpected yet awesome feature of the game is Kids Mode. There is a 5 minutes timer and no rush to fill vehicles. All each cat or pencil car needs is a single passenger. In this way, young children can learn colors as well as matching skills, without the stress of only having 60 seconds to do so. It seemed like a very thoughtful addon for this game, especially with the lovely characters and graphics.
Tiny Passengers is fun, cheerful and fun for the whole family. The gameplay is easy to understand, the puzzles challenging, and the price of the full game is a small amount for such a dazzling game.
