What would you do if a shower of meteors was heading your way? I, for one, know that I would definitely want to have a space shooter at the ready!
Space Rain is a game that was released in the summer of 2014 on the App Store. The premise is quite easy to wrap your head around: you have a space shooters and meteors are coming your way.
The game ends when you failed to destroy a meteor and it reached the ground. At that point you have the opportunity to share your score to challenge your friends, and of course to play again!
You have access to 3 levels of difficulty, which are RAIN for the easiest, STORM for the more experienced players and finally STRIKE for a real challenge.
The controls couldn’t be simpler. You control the slider with your left thumb to aim and you shoot by tapping the screen. They are very responsive so you have only yourself to blame for your failure!
I found the black and white game very appealing. It’s borderline minimalist yet contain nice, well define art.
The soundtrack is engaging and while this is a free game, the ads shown are far from intrusive, you practically forget they are there.
